Conzie Castle

The ruins of Conzie castle, also known as Bognie House, stand in a field close to the main road a few miles north of Huntly, Aberdeenshire.  Only one wall and gable stand of this once magnificent building, built in the style of a castle tower, four storeys high, complete with turrets atop each corner.  It was built in the late 17th century by one George Morrison, but doubts exist as to whether it was actually completed or upper floors put in.
