Sunbeams over Fitful Head

Sunbeams over Fitful Head

I was on the Northlink Ferry heading south from Lerwick to Aberdeen on the 27th June 1915, when I saw this view out my cabin window at around 9pm.  I had my camera handy, and took a photograph of it through the glass.  I swore that if it came out, I would paint it.  It did and I did!
